Week 3 Rankings

1: Horsedick.mpeg

The results speak for themselves. A 2-0 record and 36 more points scored than the second highest team. That doesn’t seem to be a fluke either with over 150 in both games. Stefon Diggs looks like he has the potential to be the highest scoring receiver in the league and we all know what Mahomes can do. The biggest story for this team so far has to be the play of Clyde Edwards-Helaire. A player who many were unsure of coming into the year he’s averaged 18 points per game up to this point. A Jerry Jeudy injury could be an issue here but it sounds like he’s ok

2: The Lawniczak Special

This drop has more to do with what other teams around them did than any specific indictment on this team. The RB’s continued to put up relatively pedestrian performances but it may not matter if the QB and WR’s are going to continue at this output. A Dalton Schultz injury could present problems here but it sounds like that won’t be a long term thing

3: The Sixty’9ers

What this team was able to do last week just goes to show the championship material that this manager is made out of, snatching victory from the jaws of defeat. Concerns remain with Najee both in terms of his health and the Steelers general inability to open up rushing lanes but at the very least the volume is there. Jahan Dotson has excelled point totals so far but those numbers may be deceiving when you dig into them

4: Russ Does Not Cook

Despite an appropriate name change this team was still able to pull out a victory this week. James Robinson has been one of the biggest steals in the league so far and Curtis Samuel has looked tremendous averaging 18 points per game so far. If you look at the overall pass catchers on this team which includes the TE there may not be a stronger group in the league

5: The Button Brawlers

A tough week for this team but the pieces are still in place there. One big question is whether or not Adam Thielen is done as a major fantasy player. The Committee will give him a few more weeks to prove himself but its been a rough start. This team needs Kittle to come back in a bad way

6: The Brown Note

It was a solid win this week but questions still remain. CeeDee Lamb did well in his first game with Cooper Rush but what can we expect going forward? Zeke remains stagnant and is Jeff Wilson actually good or did he just have a nice game because the Seahawks are awful? Ultimately it may not matter if Amon Ra St Brown can’t be covered

7: Loothy Muthy

This team has a gaping hole at RB with Chase Edmonds now seemingly playing second fiddle to Raheem Mostert. And while his passing game usage helps him a lot it is mild concerning that so far on the year Austin Ekeler is averaging less than three yards per carry. Lamar looks as good as ever though

8: Let That Anus Breath

The Committee is having a hard time grasping why this team is struggling to put it together so far. Kamara being injured was an issue but really outside of TE this team doesn’t have holes. It looks like maybe their ceiling is limited with Diontae in a subpar passing game and Tee Higgins being the second option on a currently struggling offense

9: The Baaaaad Boyz

0 and 2 is 0 and 2, doesn’t matter how many points you score if you can’t play defense. QB has been a major issue for this team for the second year in a row and while the RB’s have been relatively solid they haven’t played to where they were drafted.

10: The Dark White Rises

This was a team severely hampered this week by basically having to play without two starters. That being said RB2 remains an issue as Rhamondre Stevenson just isn’t as involved as you’d like and at TE Kyle Pitts has been MIA all season. WR is a strength though with Sutton and Chase who will likely get back on track at some point

11: Team Chillin

Congratulations on the win but this team still has major holes. Hopefully Keenan Allen returns this week but Chris Godwin sounds like he could be out for awhile. Through two games Derrick Henry has just 107 rushing yards and Javonte Williams is stuck in a committee. Allen Robinson was at least more involved

12: Joe Shiesty

This team has been hamstrung by the play at RB so far, but Breece Hall did have a productive week so maybe that’s something he can build on. Darnell Mooney has been a pretty big letdown but at some point he’ll have to start looking like the impact player he was last year. On the plus side Dallas Goedert has looked very good thus far
